This custom buffet cabinet is constructed using 100% locally sourced hardwoods. The Cabinet is made of walnut with with maple used in the construction of the drawers. All wood used in this project was sourced, cut, and milled in the northern Illinois area.
This cabinet features solid wood construction with a frame and panel design. All of the panels are individually book-matched for grain continuity and aesthetics. The most visible panel is made from a piece of highly figured walnut that creates a stunning design feature that is displayed prominently in the room it was built for. The drawers are built with hand-cut dovetailed construction for strength that will last generations, as well as an elegant beauty.
